Brief introduction of reverse osmosis system

Reverse Osmosis (RO) system is a highly efficient water treatment technology that utilizes the principle of semi-permeable membrane separation to remove dissolved salts, organics, bacteria, and other impurities from water to obtain high purity water. Water purification and separation is achieved by applying external pressure (higher than the osmotic pressure) to cause water molecules to flow backwards through the semi-permeable membrane from the high-concentration solution side to the low-concentration solution side.
